Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients

  • 8 slices sturdy bread, crusts removed
  • 2 x 8 oz pkgs cream cheese
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 c milk
  • 1/3 c maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Cube bread and layer half in a 9" x 13" casserole dish.
  2. Cube the cream cheese and sprinkle it on top of the bread.
  3. Top with the remaining bread.
  4. Beat the eggs and milk together. Add the maple syrup and mix.
  5. Pour the milk mixture over the bread. Cover with plastic wrap and let mixture sit overnight in the fridge.
  6. The next morning, preheat the over to 375℉.
  7. Bake french toast for 45 minutes.
  8. Serve with fruit and extra maple syrup.
