Chocolate Coffee Trifle

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs lady fingers
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 2 Heath bars, crushed
  • 1 tsp instant espresso powder
  • Semi-sweet chocolate, grated
  • Kahlua

Instructions

  1. Pour Kahlua into a bowl. Dip ladyfingers in coating both sides briefly. Place ladyfingers in 9x13 inch pan, lining pan across the bottom and up the sides.
  2. With a stand mixture with a whisk attachment, or a hand mixer, whip cream and espresso powder until stiff peaks form.
  3. Spread a layer of whipped cream across the top of the ladyfingers.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of candy across the whipped cream.
  5. Add another layer of ladyfingers over the whipped cream/candy.
  6. Top with another layer of whipped cream and candy pieces.
  7. Grate chocolate over the top, until it looks good to you.
  8. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
  9. Slice or scoop out into bowls or a serving tray.
